I finally got my Lightscribe discs in the mail and decided to give it a go. the results were wonderful, a little bit lighter than i expected but it sure beats plain discs or writing with marker. I hope this thread will give someone the idea of what finished Lightscribe discs looks like if they were debating on how to go about steamcovers.
Here is one result so far:
HL2: http://puu.sh/3wD5 (thank you alek)
Crysis Warhead: http://puu.sh/3yav & http://puu.sh/3yav
Crysis: http://puu.sh/3C3f
I'll post more later as i go, decided just to knock HL2 off the list since i finished it recently and it was taking up room. next on my lightscribe list is Crysis/Crysis Warhead.
Edit: Crysis Warhead did not really go the way i planned, i was limited on cover art but also i didn't realize the Y was cut off till i was printing, the other one was a bit eh, didn't really want labels like "windows" on my discs because i enjoy the art look more.
Edit: Crysis went lovely plain and simple. i'm going to work on a Bully Scholarship Edition cover now via cookie cutter process.
