Steam is now on Mac; Portal is Free.

It's official - Steam is now on the Mac. The list of Mac titles is small at this time - Portal, Braid, and Torchlight being the biggest hits out this week. New titles will be released every Wednesday. I attempted to test Steam on my Mac but that came to a crashing halt. Apparently only Intel Macs are supported. I have a G5 that I really only use for Final Cut Pro. Maybe some of you care to post your experiences with Steam-Mac in our forums.
Another thing to note is that this may force me to change the Steam Covers Template. I cannot test Steam on my Mac. Can someone please tell me if your PC made backups also work on your Mac.
Finally, Portal is free until the 24th. To the 3 of you who haven't played it yet, it's worth a try and you can't beat the price.
